Hull Male Voice Choir

We hope that you will enjoy visiting our site to learn about our Choir, our music activities and our achievements.

It all began in 1911 when thirteen members of Holy Trinity Church Choir, led by Fred T. Howden, formed The Choristers Glee Party (later known as The Choristers Glee Singers) - so as you may have gathered the choir has been going a 105 years (some achievement). We are a Registered Charity 1124474 and a member of The National Association of Choirs

As always, we pride ourselves as being one of the finest choirs in East Yorkshire performing at many venues & Weddings.

We proudly celebrated our Centenary in 2011 and we proudly comprise a choir of  45 members - new choristers are always welcome . The male voice choir sings in four parts: First Tenors, Second Tenors, Baritones and Bass.   It is important, ideally, to maintain a balance of numbers within each section to achieve clarity of harmony. Anyone interested is warmly invited to complete and submit to us the Contact Form on the contact Page. We are a traditional male voice choir which is keen to reach new audiences to perform in new venues, and to attract new members into the choir. We sing a wide range of well known popular music, as well as some contemporary styles. Over the year we undertake approx 10 concerts which mostly raise much needed income for local and national charities. Once again we are proud to say that we have just taken part in the Festival of Brass & Voices 2015 down in London in aid of Cancer Research UK it was a fabulous concert as always & here are a couple of pictures
